How Skyrise blurred the line between architecture and cinema

We’re incredibly proud to share that Arqui9 has been awarded “Best Commissioned Film of the Year” at the CGArchitect Awards 2025 for our film Skyrise.
The award was announced live at the World Visualization Festival in Warsaw, an awesome gathering that celebrates the most creative and forward-thinking work in the industry.

Crafting a Vision Beyond Visualization

When we set out to create Skyrise, our goal was clear: to go beyond conventional architectural visualization and craft a film that communicated emotion, ambition, and narrative all the while mantaining a strong commercial appeal.
We wanted viewers (potential buyers, developers, and dreamers alike) to experience the design as a living story rather than just another building, with its own protagonist and goals to identify themselves with.

The result was a piece that combined cinematic storytelling, strategic marketing, and architectural photography in a film that resonated deeply with its audience and fulfilled every creative and commercial goal.

A Celebration of Collaboration

While the award recognizes our studio, it’s ultimately a celebration of collaboration. The project came to life through the shared vision between our team and our client, proving what’s possible when strategy and artistry align.

This win is a milestone and, even more so, a reminder of what drives us: the pursuit of meaningful visual storytelling at the heart of the world's most successful marketing campaigns.
